I’ve had three cockatiels but Cola was my favorite. All three shared more similarities than differences.
They like to whistle and make a lot of sound/noise. Any time a member of the family would whistle, Cola would repeat back in her own way. If you whistled when she did, she’d screech to make you stop and then would resume whistling. Her favorite phrase to say was “pretty bird” and she liked walking back and forth for attention.
All three cockatiels were messy on accident. When they peck at the seeds, most of the food ends up outside of the cage. It would be best to either put the seeds against a wall in the cage or to just put the cage somewhere easy to clean like over a wooden or tiled floor.
Don’t stick your fingers in the cage, they will peck or “hiss” at it.
If you love your cockatiel, your cockatiel will love you.
