Fast reproducing cockatiels

I owned about 10 cockatiels for a few years. What surprised me most about them was how fast they could reproduce. They are fairly easy to breed, requiring very little amount of work compared to other bird species. I kept them in a fairly large cage in the backyard. The cage would get smelly if not cleaned often due to so many birds. But cleaning the cage was never a lot of work. Feeding was simple but since we kept them outside, the dropped seeds would attract rats which were always a hassle to get rid of. Overall, low maintenance birds that are nice too look at and easy to breed.
