My Cockatiel

Cockatiels are very interesting birds. I had a long time fascination with birds with caused me to finally purchase one. She was a female Cockatiel named Peaches. She was fairly easy to take care of as she just needed fresh food and water in the mornings and the bedding in her cage was to be changed weekly. It took my family a long time working with her but she did learn to say "hello." I think she could have spoke more but we weren't really sure how to go about training her. My biggest problem with having a bird was the mess. Peaches would constantly throw her seed and her corn cob bedding from her cage onto the floor. The entire time she was alive, the area underneath her cage was never clean even though we were constantly cleaning it!
