Cockatiel Review

Cockatiels are one of the most easily found birds commercially available. They are realatively cheap because they have a very, very small learning capability if at all. They are a medium sized bird, requiring not so big of a cage. They mainly whistle, and like I said, they don't have much of a vocabulary. The only thing one of mmy cockatiels could do, was whistle the sound of his name, the other and the rest of the vocabulary was just a bunch of whistle tunes. If you buy them hand tame and keep them that way, they can be friendly, but if left alone for a period of time, they will start to get mean again. These are recommended for beginners. Cost of care and food is low.
