Coco and the clock

We had owned a couple of cockatiels over the years, but Coco was my favorite. He wasn't hand tamed, but after a bit of work I finally got him to sit on my hand for a few minutes at a time. He was very curious...always watching what people in the room were doing. As far as pets go, he was very low maintenance.

My favorite thing about Coco was how he would mimic our clock. We had one that would chime one tone for every hour (i.e. 6 tones at 6 o'clock). Well, Coco proved that he ran on his own time. For no particular reason he would start his clock noise...sometimes for as long as 50 chimes! LOL! He was a funny little bird who made everyone smile with his clock impression. I would get another cockatiel in a heartbeat.
