Yellow Cockatiel

I have owned three yellow Cockatiels. They are great birds because they have an intelligence of the bigger birds, but because they are smaller you don't have to worry about accidentally getting your finger broken. These are playful birds that love attention, but they do tend to bond to the person that handles them the most so if you want a cockatiel to be a family pet everyone needs to give the bird the same amount of attention. One warning if you have the bird on your shoulder do NOT have any type of shiny or dangle earing the cockatiel will think that it is a toy.
