Sweetest Little Bird!

We got this little bird when I was about 10 years old. He was supposed to be a family bird, but for some reason he chose me as his master. That little guy would light up like a candle when I walked into the room! He would whistle at me and sing for me! Eventually, when I moved out, he switched his affections to my younger sister. He is still alive, over 25 years old, and he still remembers his first love when I visit my parents.

I think maybe part of the reason for his good health is his good diet. He regularly eats peanut butter, apples, lettuce, really almost any vegetable, in addition to his bird seed. I think he is a great little bird and I would certainly consider one for myself if I felt like I could give them the time they deserve.
