Cherry-headed Conure

My cherry-headed conure, Rosie, was such a fun bird to own! She talked up a storm and made the funniest sound imitations. She could mimic things like the doorbell and the phone ringing. Her cage was right next to the soda fridge, so every time anyone opened it, she would make the sound of a soda can opening. It was dead-on too. When the phone rang, she would say "Hello.", and as soon as you said "Hello", she would say, "Who is it?". She also picked up every bad word ever said in her presence and repeated it constantly, so you have to be careful what you say around them if you don't want it repeated. The only complaint had about her was that she was very sensitive. If she got upset about anything, she would begin to pull her feathers out. When we had her, we lived with my grandparents. My grandfather had a heart attack and spent several weeks in the hospital. By the time he came home, she was completely featherless except for her head. I felt so bad for her. Other than that, she was a very sweet bird.
