My first time I had a parakeet is when I was younger... Then 17 yrs ago I got another parakeet from a Breeder he was about 4 months old. His name was Sammy he was a beautiful blueish color. Then just last month I bought another parakeet again from a breeder. At that time all young birds were apporx 3 months old.I'm not really sure what kind of parakeet Rainbow is.And not sure if it's a male or female yet.I keep watching the crown for any changes.Right now the crown is a blueish/purple.. And is Yellow with other colors mixed in... Rainbow is fingered trained and i'm still working on more handleing..
Loves to sit in the window and chirps.... I love parakeets because they're easy birds to train and enjoy and there's not alot of mess to clean up.I keep the cage clean everyday....Rainbow still is a might flighty and will fly in the cage when i have to take things out or rearrange toys etc. I do plan on getting a larger cage...
