Birds are Loud

As the title says, birds are loud. They can make very beautiful music with their singing, they can look absolutely gorgeous, they can even be trained to do tricks and play, but there is no escaping the fact that they are loud. Birds are attention seeking animals and, even if you think you can handle it, will go out of their way to gain your attention through their constant singing and occasional shrieks. The only way combat this is to throw a blanket over the bird cage, but that hardly ever works after they catch on. Birds hiss, peck, and poop at both strangers and their owners, and always pose the risk of flying away through an open door or window. If you are looking for a good pet that can be viewed from a distance while it sings, get a bird. But if you were wanting a companion that will enjoy your playful attitude just as much as you enjoy theirs, without the constant sound of the amazon rain forest across the room, maybe a dog, cat, or guinea pig is better suited for you.
