I had a few birds in my life, and that experience taught me that every one is different and has very special character. So no "bird-brain" for me, they're all can be extremely brainy. Birds can love being in their cage, or not - depends or their earliest experiences I guess.
They usually love their chalk and apples, additional to the regular birds food. They sing really beautifully at the mornings and also when you come back from work\school, it's really reassuring.
In general, this is the perfect pet for people who do have much time, but still wants someone vivid and colorful in their life. When you have more time - you can train them to talk. If not - changing the food, the water and cleaning the cage don't take too long, as well as letting them out for a bit.
For more fun - take two! But I heard they won't learn to repeat sounds when they have each other's company, so it's your choice to make.
