My first budgerigar!

I first got my budgerigar a year ago. I found them very easy to train, he was out of the cage on my shoulder right after a week! This doesn't go with alot of bumps, when your budgie can fly around the house for the first time he will fly against everything so check on him so he won't fly to his death! It does envolve alot of patience from the owner, since a bird can only have one partner.

The only little discomfort I had was that the bird still would bite very aggressively sometimes, which can be thaught not to bite, but this takes very much time, it took me a month for him not to bite me anymore.

If you train it very well, with lots of patience the bird it's very enjoyable to have with you in the house!

Though a little note to this, the bird can't control his poop, so he will poop whenever he wants to at any place. This can get very messy so always keep a little piece of toilet paper with you to clean this up.

Here is a picture of my budgie, named Tweet.
