Budgies are a hookbills with out a doubt. .they can bite if they feel threatened or are unhappy with their owners

Budgies are one of the easier birds to sex as adults. Males will have a cere of a deep blue color during breeding sesan. the femalse cere will be a dark brown color.

They are aging them is easy once you know what to look for. a bird that has not had it's first moult will have a baring of dark feathers over the top of it's head.
