Budgie Experience

Growing up, Birds were my favorite pet, also budgies are a great starting bird. They are small birds which makes the price of the cage way less! Training them can be tricky, depending on their surroundings. I am one for wing clipping, and it made it much easier for me to train him. They take a quite a bit of one-on-one training. I suggest not having young children around your bird until he is properly trained. Once a budgie gets spooked, its hard to bring him back to his old self. Hence why i wouldn't suggest children around him. Another thing, Budgies bite hard, But hey.. If i had a big hand trying to grab me, i'd bite to. Once they're trained they're fun loving birds!
