Pretty, loud, happy - almost perfect!

Never buy a budgie that is too young. Ask the breeder if the budgie you like is eating on its own. Once they are mature enough they will absolutely love the attention and they are not afraid of new people.

They will often sing but it's not irritating at all. Biting and pulling the cage wires is another thing, but you can't really blame them.

We would close all the doors and windows and let the budgie roam freely. Unfortunately, the cage door wasn't closed properly one day and it was nowhere to be seen when we got back home. Fortunately however, it was easier parting ways that way than if it died while we still had it. We have all bonded tremendously during those 4, almost 5 years.
