Budgerigar Fica

Two years ago I got male budgerigar. I taught him to say his name - Fica and occasionally he mumbles some other words as well.
He easily adjusted to new space and the family. Now he can stand on my head and loves to come eat from the edge of my plate (he adores beans). Special treat is a slice of fresh apple from my hand (do not ever give him fresh fruit near light furniture and walls because it will stain everything, he eats some beats and others he spits around).
He has two big floes. Because of his curiosity he often tries to nibble all that seems interesting, he destroyed a covers of couple of books and angle of framed picture on the wall. He can be very noisy early in the morning, which is a big minus if, like me you prefer to sleep longer. He begins to sing at dawn and does not stop until he summons someone to keep him company.
From my experience budgerigars are lively, curious and interesting birds.
If you give a lot of attention and patience, they will easily be tamed.
