As a younger teen, my parents bought me a parakeet for my birthday. She was a bluish-green parakeet. She was small and beautiful and I loved her. We kept her in a large cage in the living room where we could all spend time with her. Sadly, she became temperamental with my family and me. When we tried to fill her food or water, she would try to nip us with her beak or attack the cage. She never stopped chirping. She did it 24/7 and would rarely sleep. She would try to push her cage over and get out. We didn't exactly know how to deal with her as a pet. We had taken he to the vet and there was nothing wrong with her. I loved her and watched her chirp even though she drove everyone in the house insane. One morning, we all woke up to Tweety laying at the bottom of her cage. To this day we still don't know what caused her death. We think it might've been from the pet store and how she was taken care of. Interestingly enough, that pet store isn't in business anymore.
