Australian parakeets are super cute and good pets. Alita, my parakeet, is a little blue/white bird, she's always moving, playing with the little bells we putted in her cage and singing.

We feed her with seeds and water, but we also used to give her fruits and she loved it.

We trained her to be able to fly inside the house (we just let her be in one room that has a bunch of plants, not all over the house) and to stand on our fingers :) That makes her feel free and happier.

The only bad thing, if we can call it bad, is that you have to clean their cage, water and other stuff that you put on their cage every day because they can be very delicate and get sick easily.

Besides that, parakeets are little lovely friends, it's beautiful to hear them singing and hang out with them.

Around two years ago we gave Alita to my grandma because she loved her a lot and it started being hard for us to keep taking good care of it. Alita is still a super happy parakeet and my grandma is the best owner ever.
