Best Bird Ever

I absolutely loved having my Budgie Joey around the house. He was a beautiful bird, blue and white in color, and made the happiest sounds whenever he saw either myself or my mother.

I adopted Joey from my sister's friend who wasn't able to keep him. He loved to sit in the sun, on a perch I put on the outside of the finch cage I had. He would jump out of his cage in the morning, fly to my shoulder and walk around the house with me, then fly over to the finch cage to spend most of the day. When I came home from work, he would immediately perch on my shoulder again, talking away and nibbling on my ear as he told me about his day.

Other than the normal bird care, he only required additional vitamins and clean up during molting season. Keeping out of drafts is also important.

He was a pleasure - and I would definitely recommend a budgie to any first time bird owner.
