Bronze Wings Pionus Make Good Company

Bronze Wings do not need constant handling but receive a lot of enrichment from hanging out with their people. Occasional vocal outbursts are tolerable and generally occur on the shoulders of each day. Everybody that I know who lives with a BW Pionus rave about them as companions. Their unusual color usually does not appeal to the first time bird owners and this works in the BWs favor.
