Border Fancy Canaries are very entertaining as long as you have a few. If you only have one they don't do anything but sit their and look pitiful, or look like their going crazy and can't be still. You get a good balance of both when you have them with cage mates. The females hardly ever make a noise, while the males sing almost non stop during the day. They don't do well in cold temperature at all, I've noticed they health decreases drastically if they temperature drops below 60. Which is odd considering they are supposed to have originated from England. They are also the biggest Canary you can probably own as a pet.
