This conure was a part of my family for over twenty years. He had some training, but perhaps not as much as he could have benefited from. He was a part of the family, and would step up for both my mother and myself, but he was not overly friendly with others, aside from our cockatiel who shared the cage with him. He would try to bite if fingers got too close, and was not super social with anyone but the two of us and his best friend. He was, however, missed terribly when he passed away. I do not see myself getting another blue crowned conure, but I am glad I had him throughout my childhood and beyond.
