When a bird gets too attached

Angel became very attached to me and really thought I was her mate.  She was very hard to keep on her cage and occupied away from me.  When I was in the kitchen, she was constantly coming over to me and wanting to nest in the cabinets climb on me and be around me.  She was very jealous of my other family members around me.  She was a little aggressive towards them, but generally chased them off when they got near me and she was near me.  This over time became a problem, as she was always coming off her cage and trying to come to me.  She attacked another bird of mine trying to come to me, through his cage.  He was protecting his cage and she injured him badly in defending herself.  I encourage everyone who has a bird that is clingy to one person to train them to socialize with others.  As much as I loved her and our close bond, it was not good for her to be so attached to me.
