I worked with one of these birds in a wildlife sanctuary in Costa Rica. It was in rehabilitation after having its tail pulled off by poachers. This bird was not domesticated so I can't comment on its ability to learn tricks and vocalizations but it was always very very loud. It was also very active and even though it couldn't fully fly yet, required a very large cage. It was able to live harmoniously with other similar birds. I have never known any birds to be fussy eaters and this one was no exception.
