My Blue & Gold Macaw

Getting a Blue & Gold Macaw was one of the biggest decisions that i have yet decided to make. I initially only wanted a small songbird. like a canary, bu when my friend put his Macaw on sale, I couldn't resist buying him. The beautiful bird was intriguing, and what more intelligent. After only one month of training, he was able to say my name, and eventually (after a lot of training) be able to respond to certain actions.

My bird, was extremely fun to care for. However, he was really demanding at certain points. He required my attention 24/7. And since I bought him when he was 9, he was acting really uncomfortable around me, and wouldn't respond. Eventually, he started to warm up to me.

The bird is one of the best companions I have had. He is also one of the most intelligent and entertaining.
