Polly - the perfect macaw

Polly was a rescue that we fostered for several years. We believe she was in her 30's when she came to us. She was mellow for a macaw and highly intelligent and had quite the sense of humor. Her behaviors were very appropriate for a macaw, normal macaw communication (yes that means she screamed but only as macaws should), normal yearly seasonal hormonal behaviors, and made those who were not her favorite work to earn her trust and acceptance into her flock. She became our other foster B&G Max's confident and leader. She has since found her forever home with Max.
