A Parkeet Not A Human?

By

Skylark was a member of our family. He really believed he was a human we thought. He snuggled up us while we sat in our rooms and ate out of our plates, sipping out of our glasses, and generally being very pesty. He imitated several words from us, including our son's name. He even said, "wake up Jeremy". Amazing, I know, but true. he sang and imitated sounds as well. Such a smart little bird. Our Skylark had a sad ending to his life though. He escaped out the front door, and though we called into the night for him and looked for him, he did not return. He was eaten by a cat. Tragic!
