This is a beautiful looking bird and our "Skippy" had a sweet personality. He was happy to be carried around on my mom's shoulder and they'd have great "conversations" together. My dad wasn't so crazy about him, though, and a new times threatened to throw his shoe at him when he was trying to make a sales call and Skippy would suddenly become extra loud and vocal. (My dad never did throw his shoe at him, thankfully!)
The pros are the personality and nature is really wonderful. They can be a bit shy at first but they are friendly.
The cons can be that they like to chew shiny objects which can include earrings, necklaces, glasses, etc. And they can be a bit noisy so if you are living in a shared space that might be a problem. They don't always talk so be aware of that when looking to adopt one.
