Quoth the Lorikeet, "I'll have two!"

Like most Lorikeets, the black Lory is a very social bird that loves the company of humans and other Lorikeets. Lory’s make excellent pets, being friendly with humans even in the wild. They do require quite a lot of attention and can be quite demanding if they don’t feel that they are getting it. The Lory’s diet of fruit and nectar can lead to a very strongly scented cage, so an outdoor flight cage is an excellent choice for these high energy avians.
