Black Capped Conures are one of the smallest members of the pyrrhura family. Some novice bird owners may initially struggle to tell the difference between a Black Capped and a Green Cheeked Conure, and indeed the two species both look and act similarly, although BCCs generally tend to be less aggressive (read: less nippy) with a "sweeter" personality. Like all Conures, they enjoy playing with their owner and can learn a few words; they'll snuggle with their owners in front of the television in the evening and prefer a tunnel or hut to cuddle into once put to bed at night.
