I rescued Little Bird as a baby and fed him with an eye dropper. He ate voraciously and grew to adulthood in a short time. He bonded with me. He liked to sit on top of my head when released from his cage. He wasn't the smartest bird but he was lovable and loved to sing if he heard music. He did bite when I tried to clean his cage. He hated any change in his environment. When he was grown, he ate store-bought bird feed, but he loved an occasional snack of a worm or bug, or even a bit of a hotdog.
