Okay, of all the pets I have had this is not one that I sought out. Lolly was given to me by a college friend after he had the bird for around 7 years. He was moving out of the country and he could not take Lolly with him. At the time, it was not an imposition on me (at the time) and I ended up keeping Lolly until I got married. Unfortunately, an allergy did not allow him to come into the new home. He was quite a stunning and beautiful bird and mid-sized as these birds go. The bird was always friendly and loved to be around people. He care was actually very easy and caused me no difficulty at all. Healthy bird. He never required any treatment. Beautiful song voice but he was not very vocal. Overall, I would recommend this type of bird for someone who has a bit of experience or is willing to learn the proper training.
