These birds are fantastic if you want to listen to bird sound (or even car sounds ) while busy with work. These birds are moderately hard to train as they take time to learn new words or tricks. They can do amazing tricks though. They aren't child friendly as they would want to bite any prying fingers coming close to their cage. They are not as susceptible to diseases, but you have to keep your bird healthy in all aspects.

These birds will mimic sounds it hears but will do so only a after some time. There exist a variety of songs and trick tutorials on the Internet that cab be used to helo train this bird. They are not fussy about their diets but they do perform better on a well - planned meal.
