An Ovariectomy (OVE) is a new procedure for neutering (spaying) a female cat or dog.
An Ovariectomy involves surgical removal of just the ovaries, and leaves the uterus in place. In contrast, the traditional Ovariohysterectomy involves removing the uterus and both ovaries.
