Horse Kicking

A kick from the hind leg of a horse is arguably one of the most powerful offensive / defensive manuevers in the animal kingdom.

A 2014 Swedish study found that a horse kick generates up to 2,000 psi (9,000 Newtons). A top human boxer might be able to punch at 1,000 psi.

Add the additional impact force of a 1 kilo metal horse shoe, the possibility of being "double-barreled" (kicked by both hind feet at the same time), and the fact that a horse can kick at human head height, and it's obvious why a horse that regularly kicks is something that is rarely tolerated.
