A face only a mother could love - The Tomato Frog

I have owned a lot of frogs and this one is probably up near the top of my favorites list. My tomato frog did not move around much, but it didn't matter; If I wanted to see him, I could reach in the vivarium and pick it up easily. It actually seemed to enjoy being in my hands, which I always appreciated.

Overall all I really liked this frog until I decided to give it away to a neighbor kid, shortly before a move across the country. I would not hesitate to buy another tomato frog, in fact it is one of few frogs that seem like a great fit for kids (Slow moving and easy to handle).

These frogs like to hide, so be sure to provide them with some shade so they feel secure.
