Easy to take care of. They need three worms a day. I put mine in a 20 gallon aquarium. Give them a little pool, a few rocks for climbing, fresh moss, and lots of burrowing dirt. If you have a cover on them, (preferably a screen) they aren't afraid of my cat, even if she jumped on the aquarium.
Unfortunately, my brother was the one to take care of our favorites, Sally and Salamander. When one got sick from bad worms and passed he neglected to remove the body and the other soon got sick and passed.
Along with other creatures, we found them in my basement.
