The Paddle Tail Newt (Pachytriton labiatus) is a fun and exciting species of aquatic newt. They are fascinating species and are very easy to keep. I would recommend this species as a great choice for beginner keepers that are looking for a species that is easy to keep and is 100% aquatic. They do very well in tanks measuring 60cm x 30cm x 30cm. They love blood worms, fish flakes, mince meat and pieces of small fish. A great choice for an beginner keeper. A
