Paddle-tail Newt

The Paddle-tail Newt is a very aggressive and territorial species that will drown, eat or dismember smaller or equal sized amphibians, which is why I would not let children own this newt. They also dislike handling as with most amphibians. But if properly cared for, they are a hardy and nice species to own, but just watch out for unchanged, unfiltered or dirty water.
