Freddie the Frog

I would say Freddie was my first love. There was a creek in my neighborhood when I was a child. I fished Freddie out of the stream and he was still part tadpole. I took him home and watched him transform into a frog. I refused to go anywhere without him. I kept him in a shoe box with a rock and some grass. I did not have the pleasure of having him very long and I was devastated when my sister dropped his box and the rock crushed him. I don't think I ate for a week (seemed like that long). Frogs are very interesting unique creatures. Watching them transform is like watching God work. I think all children should experience the life of a frog.
