Toad on Fire

The very first thing that attracted me to this toad was the coloring. "Fire-belly" is an accurate name. Its belly is a bright orange-ish red that contrasts beautifully with its typical dark, toad-colored back.

We had a tank full of salamanders and other toads and such, and I knew I had to have one. They're no more difficult to keep or feed than regular toads, which is great. They eat crickets, which, if you've read my other reviews, you know I love watching them catch.

My friends all loved my toad. They aren't really all that active, but they are out and about a lot in the tank. They're really more for looking than playing with, but it could make a cool pet for your son or daughter's room, definitely.
They got along great with the others in the tank, so no problem there.

Not high maintenance pets, don't get sick, and easy to feed! What more can you ask for?
