My Little Cobweb

My little fire bellied toad, Cobweb, was a tremendous joy to own. They really are friendly and like attention. I had a male, so he called for a mate in the night. But soon he learned that whenever he called I came and talked sweetly to him. He would turn and look right up at me. After awhile when i would walk by his terrarium he would call in the daytime and I would go and talk to him. He had a lot of personality. The care required a clean fresh spring water pond about 8" across, leaves and drift wood to give him places to hide (lying in wait for a cricket), and crickets dusted with calcium. They are poisonous so be sure and wash your hand after handling them.
