Great Beginner Toads - Very Bright And Fun

I have 5 of these great guys and they are so much fun to have. You can find them at any larger pet store, like PetCo and PetSmart, and plenty of smaller local ones too. They do require a lot of water to swim in, and while some people say that you have to provide land for them, they don't require that much at all - just a small landing pad for them to eat on.

They are pretty cheap to acquire as well, usually less than $10 each, and they don't have to have a very expensive set up either - a 10 gallon aquarium with plenty of water is great. They eat crickets and other smaller insects like mealworms and dubia roaches.

Anyone would love to have these, they are bright, they are fun to watch and they bark like a dog at times. If you have a kiddo that wants any kind of frog or amphibian, these are great ones to start with.
