This frog really to keep and maintain. I've only owned an adult leopard frog. Crickets were the preferred meal of choice. A really active frog so I suggest giving it lots of space. Can be a really beautiful frog when in a healthy condition.

With proper supervision, these pets can be good for kids, however like many frogs and toads I would not recommend they constantly be touched. They can carry bacteria and in turn the salts and bacteria present on our skins can infect frogs. They are very vocal and a cool pet to have. I've spent a lot of time just staring into the tank.
