I've kept these since childhood, yet remain fascinated by their behaviors. I have a group aged 12-15 years, and they bred every year. Unlike most species, the larvae are also hardy, and can be raised on frozen bloodworms and similar foods..they also rarely cannibalize one another, which is also unusual. Normal room temps are fine, but as with all amphbs, the water must be well-filtered.
