The Fantasy Horned frog is a variation of Pac Man frog and one that is really a pretty one to own. They are a bright orange/yellow color (or a variation there of), with a variation of different shades of red/orange on their bodies in the form of spots. They also have little horns all over their bodies (they are just small protrusions of their skin, not true horns), mainly over their eyes.

They don't need a huge enclosure as they are pretty sedentary and don't move around much. They are ambush hunters, so they need plenty of substrate to burrow down in to ambush their prey as it goes by. They eat crickets, mealworms, superworms, and pinky mice - but will strike out at anything that moves!

They have to be misted and have a moist enclosure since they absorb moisture through their skin. If they get too dry, it will kill them.

These guys are really cool frogs to own. Even though they don't move around a lot, they can easily be angered by messing with them. Sound like a bad thing? Well, first, they don't bite hard as they have no teeth. Second, they scream like an angry baby when angered, and this can lead to some really funny times. They are pretty easy to anger as well, just a few nudges from you and they are screaming.

I do recommend these guys for older children and adults as they require some specialized watering. However, they make great pets for anyone to watch.
