Bravo Barking Tree Frog!

I loved my barking tree frog. His name was Leap. Leap was a very easy pet to have, as he was extremely low maintenance. I didn't handle him very much, as that variety doesn't favor being held. The few times I did pick him up for a closer look, his color changed from green to a hue of purple, which means he was in distress. At night, his color changed too, but that was due to evening setting in, and it was fun to see.

I liked his barking! For me, that and his nighttime color changes were fascinating. He was a frog, after all, but sometimes I found myself wanting to give him a cuddle--which just isn't possible!

A barking tree frog is a fine pet if you desire a low maintenance animal, and if you're not looking for a pet to get excited about you when you return home from work!
