This is the weirdest pet Iv'e ever had. It was give to my brother for his 10th birthday and unfortunately due to it's strange appearance, my brother was to afraid of it to feed it for a while. I instead took on this duty, and let me tell you, it was scary. You have to wave it's worm cubes in the water for a little while before it comes and snatches it out of your fingers. I highly recommend using some little tongs of tweezers to do this because once it latches onto your finger, it doesn't like letting go. They don't have teeth so it doesn't hurt but it was certainly frightening for a young girl!

Despite feeding time being a bit stressful, it was all worth it to have that axolotl. I could watch it for ages paddling around in its tank with its weird feelers waving around on its head and its funny smile shaped mouth.
