Where I live is in Tropical North Queensland and Dainty's are around all the time. Especially when it rains. I manage to find two of them and one being very passive made it easy for him to become my photography model. I have taken numerous photos of my little guy until the winter months took it's toll on him and he passed away in my hand.
They need extreme proper care during the cooler months with a proper aquarium and humidity. Feeding them is fairly simple with crickets and if you're able, catch some moths and toss them in the aquarium.
They sleep during the day and are most active at night which is why they prey on the insects.
