Zucchini is an adorable male Australian White's Tree Frog. I like the fact that he changes from brown to green according to his environment. Although not striking in coloration, he is a neat looking frog. He is also a very sweet frog. In fact, he is so tame that he lets me hand feed him (this is also the only way I can feed him). When I don't have a cricket in my hand, however, he will crawl onto my hand. From there, he will climb up my arm onto my shoulder. He seems to always be visible in his terrarium. Every once in a while, he will be under his log, though. I think of him as a not-so-active tree frog; he does move around, just not when you're watching. His terrarium isn't that intricate. All he has is a water bowl, tree branch, a log, and some fake plants (it was expensive to buy everything, however). When it comes to cleaning everything, all I do is rinse out the terrarium, replace the coconut fiber substrate, and put the décor back in. when I feed Zucchini, I use calcium dusted crickets. I used to feed him the already-dead canned crickets, but the stench stayed in the house for hours after opening the can. Zucchini also had an obesity problem when I fed him the canned crickets. that was the only health problem I had with him. to keep him healthy, I clean out his terrarium monthly and his water bowl daily. I also mist his terrarium twice a day. Never give your frog chlorinated water. this can kill him/her. I hope this review has helped you.
